PERMANENT STAFF

OFFICE Assistant / Secretary

We are looking for a permanent office manageress to receive and allocate calls, provide first line client support, manage accounts and scheduling. The applicant must have a friendly, bright disposition, be comfortable in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks. She must have excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans. The applicant will be required to work from 9am until 1pm, 5 days per week. A starting wage of R40 per hour plus a commission on sales will be paid. Additional income can be earned after working hours for on site training and sales, if interested.

SALES

Permanent: We are looking for 2 well presented, dynamic sales people (25 - 45y/o) to sell Point of Sale software and hardware to small to medium businesses in the retail and hospitality trade. Sales staff will be required to manage their own leads and will be required to be in the Office for 5-10hrs per week. Applicants must have their own transport and notebook and be willing to do pre employment training on the software and on basic sales techniques. Basic salary will be based on office hours worked and effeciency starting at (R3000). Commission on sales will be 30% on gross profit. Earning potential within three months is R30000.

Freelance Rep: You use our marketing tools and training and you negotiate and manage the deal to the point of confirmation of order. We collect funds, deliver equipment and provide software and training. We provide customer feedback and technical support. You earn a commission for your successful deal closure as an agreed percentage of the collected invoiced amount.

Freelance Referral: You register as a "Freelance Referrer" with POScom. You refer a potential client to us and provide us with sufficient information to contact the decision maker in the business. We contact, quote, consult and advise the client. We close the deal and collect payment. You get commission as an agreed percentage of the collected invoiced amount.

TECHNICAL

We require three technicians in Cape Town to install and setup Computer Systems for our clients. Applicants need to have a good knowledge of Windows 98se, Win 2000 and WinXP. They must be able to network on all Windows platforms and have a good knowledge of general PC hardware. Applicants with DOS and MS Access knowledge will receive preference. A+ and MCSE certification is an advantage. Applicants must have their own transport and be prepared to work flexible hours. Remuneration will be solely productivity based. Applicants will earn income relative to the number of successful installations and the number of terminals installed, tasks accomplised and hours billed. Technical Staff will be provided with the necessary specialised skills to perform their requirements and improve their productivity. Applicants with Point of Sale or previous business experience will adapt and perform a lot faster.

VALUE ADDED RESELLERS - VAR's

POScom are looking for Computer Dealers who wish to expand their client base and increase their income stream to join as Value Added Resellers. There are three options here:

Hardware only: Supply your own hardware and get us to install and setup the software for your clients. We will deliver your machines and do the setup on site as well as train the client on the products selected. We will bill your client for software, installation and training directly. The client remains yours. We will provide software support as required directly to your client. You will earn a fixed percentage commission on our charges to your client. Software and Installation: You supply the hardware and install it at your client. We will arrange to configure the applications and do on site training at your client. You will be responsible to bill your client for these services. We will bill you for the services and software supplied. The prices you charge your client will not be restricted. We will not offer alternative pricing to your client. We merely remain a subcontractor to you. Should you not have sufficient knowledge to support your client, we will provide your client with a support contract for our services which we will monitor and bill directly.

Full House: You supply the hardware, install the software and train your clients to use it. Once you become competent at installations and configuration by attending either training sessions or shadowing our technicians and training staff. As you may know, there is very little profit on hardware, so this option should generate the best return.
